Interactive Physics is the best physics-teaching tool you can buy short of a laboratory. Students set up and run experiments using a drawing environment, attach their objects with various strings and springs, and then watch the animated results on-screen. There are limits to the number of masses and connectors, but that doesn’t detract much from the overall program. It has an excellent manual. Black-and-white only.
